Amy Crockett has recently accepted a position as a Senior Lecturer of Economics at Vanderbilt University. She is a recent graduate student at George Mason University where she received her PhD in Economics and was a graduate fellow in the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the Mercatus Center. She earned an MA in Economics from George Mason University, an MA in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a BS in Systems Engineering & Economics from George Mason University. Her research interests include the overlap of education, peace, and economics as well as the application of the principles of political economy to various education and peace issues.
