Jordan Lofthouse is a Program Director of Academic & Student Programs at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Lofthouse earned his PhD in Economics from George Mason University, where he also received the William P. Snavely Award for Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies in Economics. He earned his MS in Economics and his BS in Geography from Utah State University. His research interests are in Austrian economics, public choice economics, and the political economy of environmental and public lands policy.
