Michael Blose


Michael Blose is a doctoral student in Economics at Claremont Graduate University. He earned a BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Arkansas, MA in Military History from Norwich University, MBA from Babson College, graduate certificate in Defense Energy from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a graduate certificate in Nuclear Weapon Effects, Policy, & Proliferation from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He was also a Don Lavoie Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. He currently works as a Defense Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton and serves as a Civil Affairs Team Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves. His research interests include: economics of energy transitions, economics of energy poverty, political economy, economic history, and public choice.
